My desktop runs XP and although I updated the driver as suggested in another review, it still will not connect. Admittedly I have not spent much time on it but should not sabrent pci-g802 to any more than a typical network card installation. I simply had to move a older PC that still functioned well and the only way I could still get internet to it is with a Wireless PCI Card or similar device. This thing really does exceed my expectations to say the least. I can not however say whether or not it will be as reliable for gaming or bridging networks etc. For anything that requires a solid connection I just run a Ethernet Sabrent pci-g802 to it.
